I was travelling over the weekend with my mom, sister, and dog on a trip for hiking trip at Shenandoah National Park, seeing some productions at the American Shakespeare Center, and exploring Staunton, VA. ROOM -- We got a double room on the first floor, close to the lobby. - Exceptionally clean. - Towels were well stocked. - Quiet and comfortable. Mattress was comfortable. Ample surfaces for our belongings. - Heard use of the ice machine across from our room, but we were well awake by that time in the morning, and it was just momentary as other guests were filling coolers, etc. - Even though we were on the first floor with a view of the parking lot, we did feel private, as the parking spots in front of our room were somewhat removed from the building with landscaping. - Felt safe, even leaving the door cracked as one of us ran to the lobby to get hot coffee first thing in the morning! - This is a little silly, but I appreciated that the house phone near the bed was small and did not take up the whole night stand. That left enough room on the night stand for all of our phones, jewelry, and a C-PAP without having to juggle and puzzle where things would go. - The sandalwood shampoo and conditioner smelled nice. My mom liked the leaf-shaped hand soaps :) - We feel the room could use additional places to hang towels and washcloths. HOSPITALITY -- Staff was extremely friendly and helpful/accommodating. - Greeted immediately by staff upon checking in. - Easy to find a staff member, if needed. - Continental breakfast was perfect for our needs: hot coffee/tea, some protein, fresh fruit. Tasted good. - Staff was very attentive to stocking and keeping the buffet clean. PARKING -- Well maintained lot right off 64/81 - Parking lot was well lit with a dog walking spot nearby. - Many spots available, none of which were too far from any of the doors. - Plenty of luggage carts available, too. - Interesting rock formation behind lobby to gaze at while walking the dog.

Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Entire hotel was clean and updated. The room flooring appeared to be luxury vinyl rather than carpeting, which we liked. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the full breakfast was very good. We did not use the fitness facility. The hotel is a short drive from I-81 and not far from downtown Staunton, where we went for dinner. We would definitely stay here again, if in the area.

Extremely easy on and off interstate. We traveled with 2 dogs and I appreciated non-carpeted rooms. I also liked that breakfast included eggs and sausage and biscuits. Only minor thing was that coffee was very weak. Hotel was PERFECT for our needs that night. Women at front desk checking us in was awesome! So nice and friendly and helpful. And she came to room to help me when I couldn't figure out how to get tv going.

I’m a repeat and satisfied customer. The location and proximity to I-81 makes it a convenient choice for travelers. The perfect overnight resting spot when traveling to family in the northeast from Tennessee where I live. A clean facility and quiet atmosphere make for a restful experience. Staff is friendly and ready to assist. There is coffee 24/7 and continental breakfast in the morning. Price point is great as well.

Staff very welcoming, showed genuine interest & informative! Eventhough hotel was under renovation, guests were isolated from construction area. Designated guest areas were clean and quiet. Breakfast options were very good.....REAL fresh brewed coffee hot entrees, bagels, yogurt, waffles, fruit, etc. (another Sleep Inn on my trip offered machine coffee, and only waffles or cold cereal)
